Introduction:

Quick Pricer is the fastest way to calculate the price of products and services that are size dependent.   Those who will find this app useful are Artist, Carpet Layers, Tilers, Fence builders, and more.  

Instructions:

Note: the main screen is divided up into two main sections: 1) the item entry and calculation. 2) the quote description and total.  These two sections will be referred to as the Item, and Quote throughout these instructions.  Remember to keep your units the same.

Settings:

Here is where you set the pricing rules. Quick Pricer uses these rules to determine all of the prices in both the Item and Quote Calculations.  These settings can be changed at any time and the calculations will change accordingly.  If any pricing rule is not desired set the value to zero and that rule will not affect the calculations.

Item Calculations:

Enter the size of the area that is to be priced out.  For example you are an artist and you have a customer who wants a piece that is 20 inches by 30 inches, Then you would enter in 20 x 30 in for the size of the item.  Then enter a brief description to help you remember what was being talked about. 

With the size entered Quick Quote will calculate the area of the artwork, the parameter of the artwork, and multiply them by their respective unit area price and unit parameter price that you set in the settings. The total price shows on screen as the item price. Note: the consultation charge and tax charge will not be added in until it's added to the quote.

Quote Calculations:

Enter the size and description into the item calculation, then touch the Add Item button on the bottom of the screen. Your item will now show up in the Quote Description and the price on the bottom of the screen will be updated to include your new item.  Add as many items as desired.  You'll be able to view the items entered by scrolling up and down on the description.  You can also change the pricing rules at any time and the Quote Total on the bottom will update as well.

Clear:

This button clears the quote, allowing you to start all over.

QuickPricer for the iPhone:

QuickPricer is designed with the artist, carpet layer, and any business where prices are based upon a customer specified area and/or perimeter. Now you can calculate the price fast and easy.

How to use: 

1. *Set the pricing: how much does it cost per area, perimeter, commission or one time labor cost, and Tax. 
   

2. *Enter the dimensions: What is the size of the  object with the optional description.
   

3. *Add item to quote.
   

QuickPricer will calculate the area and perimeter of the rectangular dimensions provided and calculate the price. Note: the price settings will be constant throughout the quote. Every time the price settings are changed the changes will apply to the entire quote.

1. *Continue adding as many items the customer desires.
   

Often customers may decide on a different style or product, but still be applied to the same rooms or area. With the dimensions of all the items entered all you need to do is change the price settings and the quote price will adjust accordingly.
